FAQs
Is dry washing safe for aircraft paint?
Yes, when executed correctly. We use FAA approved chemicals with lubricants and emulsifiers that encapsulate contaminants before contact, combined with twist pile microfiber towels, engineered to reduce drag and prevent surface abrasion.
When should an aircraft receive a wet wash instead of a dry wash?
Wet washing is recommended when operating in salty or highly contaminated environments where corrosive buildup must be flushed from the surface. Controlled rinsing helps neutralize salt, grime, and residue that can compromise long term performance.
Are you equipped to service aircraft at SDL and in hangars?
Yes. We operate as a mobile aviation detailing service equipped for hangars, FBO ramps, and controlled environments at SDL and throughout Scottsdale.
Does ceramic coating effect my CG (center of gravity)?
Absolutely not! The amount of weight from the ceramic product we apply is generally less than a pound and it is evenly distributed throughout the entire aircraft so there are zero negative effects on flight characteristics.
Do I really gain airspeed and lower my fuel consumption by having my aircraft detailed or ceramic coated?
We all know parasitic drag is a real thing, and several studies have proven that with a clean aircraft surface, you will see an increase in airspeed and less fuel consumption.
